The Old City - Jewish and Armenian Quarters

Moslem Quarter and Christian Quarter are not great places for Jewish travelers right now. Interestingly, in the Jewish Quarter the "Old City" is mostly post-1967 contruction, since Jordan bulldozed the quarter when they captured it in the 1948 war.

Here's an article on teh Whol Museum, where I cannot take photos - it is an excavation under the current streets (the Old City is layer on layer - every time someone sacked the city, they built a new one on top of the old one without carting off the old one).
