Cape Breton Piano: Ryan MacNeil
Ryan MacNeil is from Sydney Mines, Cape
Breton. He has played throughout
Eastern Canada, Scotland and Ireland and has
performed on albums and videos with The Barra
MacNeils, Tommy Basker, Maire O'Keefe and
others. In 1994 he toured with Hamish Moore on
the "Welcome to Nova Scotia" tour. Ryan is
pianist for the group "Slainte Mhath".
In 1999 he will be teaching at
The Gaelic College of Celtic Arts & Crafts in St Ann's.
