Jerusalem, Feb 20-25 2003
On Feb 19 I left on El Al for Israel, where I would then spend 5 nights in Jerusalem. At these prices, it was cheaper than staying home. And with the security level in NYC being what it was, it hardly seemed more dangerous. No one really wants to destroy Jerusalem, everybody wants to posess it.
I have told a lot of stories about the trip (especially the manic trip to the airport going home Tuesday morning when I woke up to 4 inches of snow and more falling, which stopped all transportation out of Jerusalem except for for an opprotunistic maniac in a 4 wheel drive truck....)
...but right now I don't have time to write them. But here are the pictures, with minimal explanation.
